Description

This dairy farm project represents a significant step forward in renewable energy, converting agricultural waste into ultra-low carbon renewable natural gas (RNG). The project team executed the work under a stringent schedule and presented notable complexity due to the overall scale of the operation, the size of the foundations, and varying site elevations.

A central component of the scope was the construction of the digester tank building, which included 1,514 linear feet of cast-in-place concrete walls. Superior also constructed several adjacent process structures critical to facility operations, including the sand separator, DAF platform, and lift station.

Superior’s ability to successfully manage the demanding schedule, complex structural requirements, and high-quality execution led to the company being awarded an additional methane digester facility by the same client shortly after work commenced in Stephenville.
